Inspired by Tim Burton's holiday classic, "Merry Madness!" is a fast-paced, simultaneous play dice game that challenges players to make Christmas out of mayhem. In this spookiest of Christmas adventures, Jack Skellington's instructions are simple - whack, pound, and glue all the toys together, then toss them into Sandy Claws' Christmas bag to be the first to win.

The game's setup and gameplay are easy to grasp. Players start by placing the central "Sandy Claws' Christmas bag" board and taking their character boards, each with evenly-distributed and random items. Gameplay begins as players roll their dice, taking actions based on the roll's outcome - these combinations dictate WHAT item to send flying, HOW MANY of the item, and WHERE to send it. Once a player's board is empty, they shout "This is Halloween!" to score the round, with the first player to earn 3 points declared the winner.

An alternate variation tasks players with rolling the dice to gather Christmas toys from other boards and the central bag, forming complete sets to earn points. Again, the first player to 3 points wins the game.

"Merry Madness!" includes a wealth of components to enhance the experience - a central board, 5 player workbenches (Zero, Sally, Mayor, Jack, and Lock, Shock, and Barrel), 60 Christmas presents (12 each of 5 items - Zombie Duck, Vampire Teddy, Christmas Wreath, Pumpkin-in-a-box, Snake), 13 Ghoulish Gift scoring tokens, and 15 dice (5 each of 3 types).
